General FAQ

  • Who can attend Midwest Summit Youth Conference?

    All middle and high school students, Pastors, Youth pastors, Youth leaders, parents, and church members are all welcome!

  • When does the event begin and end?

    Registraion and Check-in begins Wednesday, June 26th at 5:30pm. The opening session starts at 7:00pm. Conference ends Friday, June 28th at 9:30pm (at the the KC Royals game). There is a BONUS SERVICE on Sunday morning at Mission View Baptist Church.

  • Where is Midwest Summit Youth Conference?

    Conference is hosted by Mission View Baptist Church and located at 3400 NE 80th St. Kansas City, MO 64119

  • We would like to stay and attend church on Sunday. What services are available?

    We welcome any delegate to attend Conference Sunday on June 30th at Mission View Baptist Church at 10:30am. This is the same location that the conference will be hosted. Our Sunday morning service will feature the conference recap and message by Pastor Vat Mao. There is also our regular 9:30am Sunday School available. 

  • Are you Independent Baptist?

Registration FAQ

  • Do I have to register now or can I register at the door?

    Registration will be open Monday April 22nd till the day of the conference on June 26th. Make sure to register online by June 1st to recieve the early bird discount. We plan to hold about 300 people. Registration will be closed when we hit 300 people. You will be able to register at the door upon availability. 

  • Is there early registration?

    Yes, early registration is $55 for an individual and $50 if you register a group of 10 people or more. This rate expires on June 1st. After June 1st, the registration price will be $65 for an individual and $60 for a group of 10 people or more. 

  • Is there Youth Pastor / Youth Leader registration?

    Yes. All youth pastors, leaders, and adult chaperones must register online prior to the conference. Cost is the same as regular delagates. 

  • Can you just attend the services?

    Yes! However, we encourage everyone to get the full experience of the conference. Depending on how full we are we will have to provide our paid delegates the best seats in the auditorium. No food or activities will be provided for those just attending services. 

  • Can registrations be cancelled or transferred?

    Thank you for understanding that no refunds will be provided. Registration may be transferable based upon the request. You can contact us to inquire about transferring your registration here: info@missionview.church

  • What is included in the registration fee?

    The registration fee covers: your admission for the full conference experience with 4 Preaching Sessions, 4 Breakout Sessions, Rush Funplex on Thursday and KC Royals game w/fireworks on Friday, and two meals (lunch Thursday and Friday). It does not include transportation or lodging.

  • Will there be food for purchase?

    Lunch on Thursday and Friday is included in your registration. Snacks and drinks will be provided during the Breakout Sessions on Thursday and Friday. Youth are welcome to bring additional food to eat during the breakout; however no one will be permitted to leave the conference to purchase food accept after the activity on Thursday and at the food court at the KC Royals game*.

Wristbands & Transporation FAQ

  • When will I receive my ticket/wristband?

    You may pick up your wristband starting at 5:30pm on Wednesday, June 26th at Check-in. We recommend coming early to avoid the lines. The wristbands are to know who are the paid delegates. This will help with meals and attending the activites. 

  • If I am a youth leader registering a group (10 or more), do I need to check-in each individual student at the conference?

    No. You will only need to send one adult representative (preferably the group leader/pastor) to check-in your group.

  • Do we have to drop off and pick up our Youth?

    Yes. Every young person attending the Youth Conference will need to be dropped off on Wednesday night, Thursday morning, Thursday night, and Friday morning (Sunday is optional). Every student will need to be picked up Wednesday night, Thursday morning, Thursday night, and Friday morning (Sunday is optional).

  • How will our Youth be transported throughout the duration of the weekend?*

    Throughout the duration of the week for any activities/services, our  Youth Conference will not be transporting anyone to and from events. You and your youth group will have to have your own transportation.

  • Who will you be sponsoring?

    A young person who wants to attend the Midwest Summit but don't have the funds to cover his or her registration. 

  • Why sponsor a student?
